Why Quantum

Manfred Koch, Managing Director at Shippl

“We have enjoyed considerable consumable lifetime of almost 2000 hours and are saving money with the smaller Quantum pump compared to our sister firms who still use hydraulic intensifiers. Schippl stands for innovation and the decision to further invest in Quantum’s technology was easy to make”.

Elio Rossi, Owner of EMR Marble and Granite

“I left the company location and was excited about what I saw. I was impressed with the quality of the product. Seeing the Quantum NXT Electric Servo Pump in operation was truly what I was hoping to find. I’ve been doing my research, talking to industry experts, reading reviews online from other  customers, and Quantum comes highly recommended.”

Tyson Barnett, Co-Owner at WA Glass

“A dilemma we faced was that our factory had limiting power supply though. Luckily, Quantum’s revolutionary electric servo pump only runs 22 AMP full load which lowers the need for higher power supply.”

Simon Barnett, founder of OBO Goalkeeping

“The design of the product to withstand the harsh waterjet process and Quantum Servo Pump technology to reduce the power requirement is what intrigued us at first. After the test cut and have witnessed the nesting program, we had no doubt it was going to be a perfect fitment in our workshop.”

Brett Cahill, co-owner of Cashcor Engineering

“With experience and know-how built over a 30-year period, the Quantum team was a major factor in the purchasing decision. We knew adding a second waterjet was the right choice because of the successful long term relationship we already have in place, and their ongoing technological innovations.
The new electric pump itself is already starting to deliver on huge power cost savings.”

Mr. Pongpan, Production Manager at BSG Glass

“Since we greatly improved our production capabilities, and with the technology we now have at our disposal, we are looking at opening our business to new markets and consistently grow our business in the respect of our environment.”

Chris Harvey, owner of Australian Metals

“Nowadays achieving a smaller footprint while reducing costs and becoming more environmentally friendly is one of the most important characteristics of any technical equipment. Therefore, we were excited to be introduced to the Quantum pump and we must say that it is performing as advertised.”

Doug Stedtefeld, owner of JK Prototype

“The pump is the number one reason we went back to Quantum. Tanks are tanks; the pump offers quietness and ease of rebuilding. We checked out other suppliers, but nothing compared.” Doug went on to state, “I am talking with you now and I have both pumps running, yet my air compressor is all we can hear.”

Dirk Reedijk, owner of Reedyk

“The Netherlands has pioneered global efforts in sustainable energy and green technology. The Quantum Servo Pump is a perfect fit. I am proud to know that Reedyk has purchased the first Pump of the newest Generation. The technology has served us well in the past and having Quantum as a business partner has been an excellent experience.”

Marco Steenbergen at Reedyk

“We have had great improvements in seal life and operator experience when we changed from hydraulic intensifiers to the new Quantum servo pump in 2012. I was happy to hear that we invested in the newest generation with improved diagnostics and more power for faster cutting.

Stefan Manis, owner of SNZ

“SNZ relies on high-power waterjet cutting to meet strict quality and turnaround demands in automotive R&D. By adopting Quantum’s servo pump technology, we’ve significantly reduced energy and maintenance costs while supporting business growth. With three Quantum servo pumps in operation and plans for advanced diagnostics and remote monitoring, we’re able to deliver greater efficiency, transparency, and reliability to our customers.”

Al Linker, founder and owner of Linker Fabricating and Machining

“We arranged a meeting in no time and we made a trip to a local fabrication shop that had recently purchased a Quantum system. As a matter of fact, the other sales representative from the competitor called us on the ride home from our tour and I told him we were going with Quantum because of the pump and he said ‘Well, we can’t touch that pump.’ The rest is history!”

David Thumath, Director of HG Watercut

“I chose Quantum mainly due to the pump’s advanced technology, and I liked the structure of the machine. Being in the machine tool game myself, I liked what I saw and heard when I visited.”

Michael Levytskyy, Principal Engineer at Alloy Steel International

“The electric servo pump literally saves us 5-10k a year on power bills”.

Lawrence Thomson, son of Laser Wizard founder

“The main difference we see between the old intensifier pump and the new Quantum pump is the saving on the power bills. With the efficiency of the new pump, we are saving around $6000 a year which is having a great impact on our bottom line. Another added benefit is the significant noise reduction”.

Kent Wicks, owner of Laser Punch & Bend

“We were attracted by their energy-efficient electric servo pump called Quantum. So far, we are impressed with how the HMI works, allowing you to monitor the components, and with Advanced Diagnostics we will be able to perform predictive maintenance.”

Ryan Walker, director at London Waterjet

“Our new waterjet has been a fantastic addition to our company. The innovation in accuracy and the Quantum pump technology was a big driver for us and has not disappointed. We have been able to take on additional jobs thanks to the increased cutting speed and clever software.”
